Dr O’Mahony is a Visiting Lecturer at the Centre of Forensic Interviewing, University of Portsmouth.
He contributed to the Law Commission Unfitness to Plead consultation (Report published in 2016). He was an adviser to the ‘At risk, yet dismissed’ research project (2013) which examined the criminal victimisation of people with mental health problems (A collaborative research project between Victim Support, MIND, Kingston University, St George’s, Kings College London, UCL)
